Welcome !

Carleton Place High School is a grade 7-12 school located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Carleton Place, Ontario. Established in 1922, the school has a storied history, and is a cornerstone institution of the town. Currently, it educates over 900 students and offers a dynamic program with a challenging academic curriculum and wide range of co-curricular activities. The Upper Canada District School Board’s mission is “we prepare all students for a successful life”. This mandate is reflected in the attention and care that the staff at Carleton Place High School demonstrate inside and outside of the classroom. In a changing society, we help students achieve their goals and support their development as well-rounded students and community members. As principal of Carleton Place High School, my commitment is to the students and families that I serve. I strive to create an educational plan that is uniquely tailored for student success.

Sincerely,

Casey Nelson, Principal
