CPHS Key Dates 2022-2023

Emailed: Monday, May 1, 2023

Good Monday morning, Everyone,

Since mid-semester report cards were handed out on Friday, it is important that you be notified of the following:

If a student withdraws from a Grade 11 or 12 course within five instructional days following the issue of the first provincial report card in a semestered school... the withdrawal is not recorded on the OST.  If a student withdraws from a course after five instructional days following the issue of the first provincial report card in a semestered school... the withdrawal is recorded on the Ontario Student Transcript by entering a "W" in the "Credit" column.  The student's percentage grade at the time of the withdrawal is recorded in the "Percentage Grade" column.

Just so that you are all aware -- Friday, May 5th is the fifth school day after the issue of the report cards (meaning it's the last day to drop a grade 11 or 12 course without it showing up on your transcript).

We continue to encourage all of you to work hard to earn your credits this semester, establish and maintain strong work habits, and keep learning.

If there are things getting in the way of this, please share that with a trusted adult.  We all want to help and support you so that you feel positive and motivated about school and experience success!

Have a great week,

Mrs. Anderson, Ms. Shaw, and Mrs. Winter
