Course Selection Information
The Guidance Office sent an email today, February 8th, to all students currently in grade 9, 10, or 11 with an attached reference sheet to help them prepare to choose courses for the 2023-2024 school year. Students have been asked to look at the sheet this week in advance of presentations from Guidance next Monday, Feb. 13 for current grade 11s; Tuesday, Feb. 14 for current grade 9s; and Wednesday, Feb. 15 for current grade 10s.
These presentations, which will happen during the school day, aim to provide further information about the various courses and to answer any questions students may have. After each presentation, the myBlueprint.ca/ucdsb accounts for that particular grade will be enabled so that students may enter their course selections as soon as they are ready. All course selections must be completed and submitted by the end of February.
As always, we require approval of course selections by a parent/guardian. We suggest that students save their submission page as a PDF (by lastname_firstname), and parents/guardians can then email that document to [email protected]. Alternatively, we will also gladly accept a printed submission page from myBlueprint with parent/guardian signature.
A giant thank-you to everyone for their help in this important process!

Hello CPHS Grade 12s!
We need your help with myBlueprint for next year.
If you're graduating andnot returning for 2023-2024, please go into your myBlueprint.ca/ucdsb account and click on "Not returning next year?" and follow the steps. It will only take a minute of your time.
Ifcoming back to CPHS for 12X is part of your plan because you won't be ready to graduate this June, then you'll need to discuss this with Mrs. Anderson or Mrs. Winter. Please come by Guidance as soon as you can. In the event that you do need an extra semester or two to finish up, you will need to complete your course selections in myBlueprint as soon as possible. We've attached a course reference sheet for you.
If you have questions, please feel free to email Mrs. Anderson ([email protected]) or Mrs. Winter ([email protected]), or stop in.
Thanks so much for your help! 😊
Mrs. Anderson, Ms. Shaw, and Mrs. Winter
Hello Grade 8 Parents and Guardians,
It was wonderful to see so many in attendance at the open house last night. We enjoy meeting parents and answering questions as we hope to make this transition and the course selection process as easy as possible. Here are a few hints, tips, or tricks to help you further.
- Students can access their school email at home by following the steps below:
- In a standard web browser type in my.ucdsb.ca
- This will take you to the sign in page. Enter your school email (typically your [email protected])
- It will then ask you for your password. This is the same password you use to sign into the computers at school.
- Here you will find the email from me (Elizabeth Anderson) with the link to the Microsoft form to be filled out.
Here is a very helpful video walking you through the steps to access your school email from home that was made by one of our other UCDSB schools.

Students do not need to do anything in myBlueprint (yet…we will take care of this part at school). Parents do not need to do anything for this site.

In the guidance office, we do have paper copies of the Microsoft form for those who would prefer. If this is you, please have your student stop by guidance tomorrow to pick one up or I’ve attached it here for you to print at home. Please return it to the guidance office once filled out.
We’re happy to answer any questions you have.
Take care,
CPHS Guidance Team of Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Winter and Ms. Shaw
