WELCOME TO THE BEARS’ DEN

Welcome to the CPHS Bears Athletics page. Our school is part of the Lanark County Interschool Athletic Association (LCIAA), which includes teams from Almonte, Carleton Place, Perth, and Smiths Falls. Our school is proud to offer a wide variety of interscholastic teams for both individual and team sports. Check the athletics bulletin boards outside the main gym doors for tryout notices.

All student-athletes are required to follow the CPHS Bears Student-Athlete Code of Conduct. This code of conduct must be signed by the student-athlete and their parent/guardian. To view the student-athlete code of conduct, click here.

SPONSORSHIP ALERT

The CPHS Athletics department is thrilled to announce their partnership with
ProActive Athletic Therapy, the only athletic therapy clinic in Lanark County. Owned by Stephanie Lowther, who is focused on giving back to the community, this partnership will yield great benefits for our student-athletes through education.

One of the highlights of this partnership is that ProActive Athletic Therapy is providing game day taping to those student-athletes that need for $5 per joint. Booking can be done by text (613-276-8884) or email (info@proactiveathletictherapy.com) and must include the student-athletes first and last name. Acceptable forms of payment are cash and tap. ProActive Athletic Therapy is committed to trying to give students priority booking for taping, in addition to priority booking for assessment and or treatments.

As parental consent is needed prior to taping, please find attached the consent form that needs to be signed and provided to a member of the ProActive Athletic Therapy team. Copies of the consent form are also available by the CPHS Athletics board, located just outside of the main gym doors.
